Our Team
Jessica Lane Rowan
Meet Jessica Lane Rowan, the founder of Lane Rowan Consulting—a nonprofit consulting firm that has been making waves in northeast Ohio since 2008. Jessica and her team have become the go-to experts for a diverse range of organizations—nonprofits, schools, faith-based groups, and government agencies—helping them navigate the complex world of grants. They take a hands-on approach, guiding clients through everything from brainstorming project ideas to writing proposals and preparing reports.
Jessica has 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and her passion for grant writing came from her human and social services background and her heart for service. She's held various roles in nonprofits, so she really gets the ins and outs of what it takes to keep an organization running smoothly.
What's most impressive is Jessica's track record. She's helped her clients secure tens of millions of dollars in grant-based funding, often yielding dramatic returns. For example, after five years of working closely with one client, she boosted their grant funding by over 500%. She helped another client form a new partnership with a local foundation that turned into an unsolicited $1 million grant! Most recently, the firm landed a massive $2 million operating award from McKenzie Scott's high profile Yield Giving Opportunity.
Jessica is committed to giving back to the community. Her firm not only collaborates with established organizations but also volunteers to help grassroots nonprofits establish themselves in northeast Ohio.
Jessica is a graduate of Swarthmore College and the University of Wisconsin School of Law.
